Who I Am

I’m a freelance director, satirical writer, actor, and culturally driven storyteller who explores the intersection of identity, humor, and truth. My work blends the absurd with the authentic, using satire to reveal the beauty and contradictions of the human experience. I aim to tell stories that challenge, entertain, and resonate.
This vision came to life in Big Bahay - my senior thesis film, which I wrote, directed, and financed independently. The film follows a Filipino American single-mother family, where each member embodies a familiar Pinoy stereotype, navigating personal struggles with the support of their overworked mother - the family’s only pillar until the weight becomes too much for her. It’s a satirical coming-of-age story about cultural identity, family dynamics, and the quiet exhaustion of care. Building the set, leading a full crew, and raising over $4,000 through grassroots marketing taught me how to turn vision into reality.
Alongside Big Bahay, I produced event videography projects for The Daily Targum, Rutgers University, and Asian cultural organizations, and worked with the Institute for the Study of Global Racial Justice on climate-focused projects in Camden, NJ. I also served as a set intern for Bel Biv DeVoe’s 50th anniversary hip-hop music video.
Beyond film, I explore poetry, musical lyricism, and social media activism - all ways to tell honest stories that spark reflection and connection.
